Agricultural Extension Worker (AEW) Sibla participated in a training on Nutrition in Emergencies organized by the National Nutrition Council (NNC), strengthening the capacity of agricultural extension personnel to respond to nutrition concerns, particularly during emergencies and crises.

The training emphasized the vital role of the agriculture sector in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 2: Zero Hunger, through sustainable food production, improved food access, and strengthened community food security.

The activity further highlighted the importance of collaboration between agriculture and nutrition sectors in building resilient communities and ensuring that every Filipino has access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food.
