𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐚 𝐈𝐀 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐀 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐨 𝐅2𝐂2 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

The Aurora Lucena La Union Irrigators Association (IA) and La Suerte and Las Navas Irrigators Association (IA) underwent a clustering assessment as part of the Department of Agriculture’s Farm and Fisheries Clustering and Consolidation (F2C2) Program.

The assessment aims to determine the readiness, potential, and organizational capacity of the two irrigators’ associations for clustering and consolidation. Through F2C2, individual farmers and organized groups are encouraged to work collectively, enabling them to achieve economies of scale, improve access to government interventions, strengthen production and marketing systems, and become more competitive in the agricultural value chain.

The program recognizes that organized and consolidated farmers are better positioned to access appropriate technologies, production support, financing, machinery, post-harvest facilities, and market opportunities. More importantly, F2C2 promotes collective action and enterprise development, helping farmers transition from individual producers to more competitive, market-oriented agricultural organizations.

The clustering assessment of ALLa IA and LASUERVAS IA marks an important step toward strengthening their organizations and preparing them for greater opportunities under the Department of Agriculture’s F2C2 Program.
