The AZNESANSAL Corn Cluster Association Farmers Association received one unit of Solar Bubble Dryer worth ₱345,000, with a stated drying capacity of 1,000 metric tons, providing the association with a more efficient and weather-resilient option for drying their corn produce.

Unlike traditional solar drying, which requires farmers to spread corn over drying pavements or tarpaulins and is highly dependent on direct sunlight and favorable weather, the Solar Bubble Dryer provides a more controlled, efficient, and hygienic drying process. It can help reduce exposure to rain, dust, animals, and other contaminants while minimizing the labor and time required for conventional drying.

The intervention is expected to help the association improve grain quality, reduce postharvest losses, and strengthen the overall efficiency of corn production and marketing.

This support reflects the continuing commitment to provide farmers with appropriate technologies that improve productivity, postharvest management, and income opportunities.
