Strengthening collaboration for a stronger agriculture sector, the Municipal Agriculturists (MAs) of Agusan del Sur gathered in Prosperidad for a meeting focused on coordination, program updates, and sharing of best practices.

Hosted by the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Prosperidad, led by Municipal Agriculturist Ma’am Marlita Cortez, the gathering brought together Municipal Agriculturists and agriculture representatives from across the province. Also present was Provincial Agriculturist Armando Valiente, who joined the discussions on key agricultural programs, concerns, and initiatives.

The meeting provided an avenue to exchange experiences and strategies in delivering responsive agricultural services, with discussions covering high-value crops, fisheries, livestock, and other agricultural development programs.

The gathering highlighted the importance of strong coordination and collaboration among local agriculture offices to strengthen program implementation and better serve the farmers and fisherfolk of Agusan del Sur.
