The Municipal Livelihood Center of Prosperidad hosted 20 farmers from the Upland Sustainable Agriculture Development (USAD) for a training on Financial Literacy, Production Consolidation, and Processing, providing participants with practical knowledge to improve their farm management and livelihood enterprises.

The activity emphasized the importance of financial management, production consolidation, and processing in increasing the value and profitability of agricultural products. It also equipped farmers with knowledge that can help them make better decisions in managing their farm resources and developing sustainable livelihood opportunities.

The Municipal Livelihood Center was funded through the initiative and support of Municipal Mayor Frederick Mark Mellana, with one of its key purposes being to provide a dedicated and accessible venue for trainings, capacity-building activities, and livelihood development programs for farmers and other community beneficiaries.

Present during the activity were Municipal Livelihood Center-in-Charge Engr. Al Requierme, USAD Coordinator Rey Batalona, and Agriculturist Edgar Allan Basmayor, who supported the conduct of the training.

Through the Center and its continuing capacity-building initiatives, the Municipal Government of Prosperidad strengthens its commitment to empowering farmers with knowledge, skills, and opportunities that contribute to sustainable and improved livelihoods.
