The Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Prosperidad conducted a coordination meeting with representatives from the 32 barangays in preparation for the 25th Angot Festival.

Among the major agenda items discussed were the guidelines for the Agri-Booth Competition, Sinugbang Tilapia Contest, Patilaw, Himun Tu Mag-uuma, and Float Parade. The meeting aimed to clarify contest mechanics, participation requirements, schedules, and other important preparations to ensure the smooth implementation of the activities.

Led by Municipal Agriculturist Marlita P. Cortez, the MAO emphasized the importance of active participation and coordination among all barangays in showcasing Prosperidad’s agricultural products, farmers, and local agricultural innovations.

The activity reflects the MAO’s commitment to strengthening barangay collaboration and making the 25th Angot Festival a meaningful celebration of Prosperidad’s agricultural sector and farming community.
