As part of the Municipal Agriculture Office’s continuing Regular Animal Health Monitoring Program, a Mass Rabies Vaccination and Deworming Campaign was successfully conducted in Barangay La Purisima, Prosperidad, benefiting a total of 158 animals.

The activity accomplished the following:
๐Ÿถ 136 dogs vaccinated against rabies
๐Ÿฑ 5 cats vaccinated against rabies
๐Ÿ 5 goats dewormed
๐Ÿƒ 12 carabaos dewormed and provided with vitamin supplementation

The activity, spearheaded by the Municipal Agriculture Office of Prosperidad under the leadership of Municipal Agriculturist Ma’am Marlita Cortez, aims to protect both animals and the community from rabies while improving the health and productivity of livestock through regular deworming and vitamin supplementation. These preventive animal health interventions help control the spread of diseases, reduce parasite infestation, and promote healthier and more productive farm animals.

The Municipal Agriculture Office encourages all pet owners and livestock raisers to actively participate in scheduled animal health activities and continue practicing responsible animal ownership and proper livestock management. Through sustained veterinary and extension services, the LGU of Prosperidad remains committed to safeguarding public health, strengthening the local livestock industry, and improving the welfare of farming communities.
