The five-day Farm Business School (FBS) training successfully concluded on July 27β31, 2026, at Casa Luciana, Butuan City.
Representing the Rural-Based Organizations (RBOs) of the Municipality of Prosperidad were Agriculturist Rey Batalona, Acila Coyoca, Ferdinand Solidum, and Ryan Belandres, who actively participated in the capacity-building program designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of women, youth, and other rural-based organizations.
Throughout the five-day activity, participants engaged in interactive lectures, workshops, group discussions, market survey exercises, and the preparation and presentation of their own farm business plans. These hands-on activities enhanced their knowledge and skills in managing farms as profitable, sustainable, and market-oriented enterprises.
The training concluded with the presentation of business plans, post-training evaluation, and the formulation of participants’ re-entry plans, reaffirming their commitment to apply their newly acquired knowledge and contribute to the growth of resilient and competitive rural enterprises in their respective communities.
