𝖬𝖠𝖮 𝖯𝗋𝗈𝗌𝗉𝖾𝗋𝗂𝖽𝖺𝖽 𝖴𝗉𝗁𝗈𝗅𝖽𝗌 𝖳𝗋𝖺𝗇𝗌𝗉𝖺𝗋𝖾𝗇𝖼𝗒 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝖠𝖼𝖼𝗈𝗎𝗇𝗍𝖺𝖻𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗒

As part of its commitment to transparency, integrity, and accountability in the implementation of government agricultural programs, the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) of Prosperidad assisted the Department of Agriculture – Internal Audit during its monitoring and validation visit to the AZNESANSAL Corn Cluster Association and the Farmers Alternative for Self-Reliance Multi-Purpose Cooperative (FASRMCO).

The audit team inspected the agricultural machinery and equipment provided to the beneficiaries to verify their proper utilization, maintenance, and compliance with program objectives.

Among the major machinery and equipment validated at the AZNESANSAL Corn Cluster Association were the Corn Combine Harvester, Soybean Sorter, Multi-Commodity Thresher, Four-Wheel Tractor, and other farm mechanization support equipment provided under the Department of Agriculture’s Corn Program.

Meanwhile, the team also visited FASRMCO, where they validated the Bio-Secured Hauling Truck awarded under the Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (INSPIRE) Program. The hauling truck serves as a vital support facility to strengthen biosecurity measures and improve the transportation of livestock, contributing to the recovery and sustainable growth of the local swine industry.

Through the leadership of Municipal Agriculturist Marlita Cortez, the Municipal Agriculture Office continues to support monitoring and evaluation activities that promote good governance, ensure responsible use of government resources, and maximize the benefits of agricultural interventions for the farmers of Prosperidad.
