𝖲𝗍𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗀𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗇𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝖥𝖺𝗋𝗆𝖾𝗋𝗌’ 𝖮𝗋𝗀𝖺𝗇𝗂𝗓𝖺𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇𝗌 𝖳𝗁𝗋𝗈𝗎𝗀𝗁 𝖢𝖺𝗉𝖺𝖻𝗂𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗒 𝖡𝗎𝗂𝗅𝖽𝗂𝗇𝗀

Agricultural Technologist Rex Campano, together with five members of the Board of Directors (BOD) and members of the SINASAMA Irrigators Association and Farmers Alternative for Self-Reliance Multipurpose Cooperative (FASRMCO), actively participated in the training on Organizational Development and Capability Building: Enterprise Operations Manual Preparation and Organizational Policy Formulation at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City.

The training aimed to strengthen the organizational capacity of farmer and irrigators’ associations by providing participants with practical knowledge and skills in developing Enterprise Operations Manuals, organizational policies, systems, and procedures. It also emphasized the importance of clear roles and responsibilities, sound governance, proper documentation, and effective decision-making in ensuring the sustainable operation of organization-managed enterprises.

Through the activity, participants were equipped with tools and strategies to establish clear operational guidelines and formulate policies that promote transparency, accountability, efficiency, and organizational sustainability. The knowledge gained is expected to help SINASAMA Irrigators Association and FASRMCO improve their internal management and strengthen their capacity to manage agricultural enterprises and government-assisted projects effectively.

The participation of the Municipal Agriculture Office reflects its continued commitment to strengthening farmers’ organizations and empowering them to become more capable, self-reliant, and sustainable partners in local agricultural development.
