The DILG Prosperidad, through Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Jorem J. Luzon, facilitated the Barangay Annual Investment Program (AIP) CY 2027 Finalization Workshop cum Review of the Gender and Development (GAD) Plan and Budget and the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (BDRRM) Plan.
The activity brought together all 32 Punong Barangays of the Municipality of Prosperidad to finalize their respective Annual Investment Programs and ensure that their priority programs, projects, and activities are aligned with the approved GAD Plan and Budget and the BDRRM Plan.
The Annual Investment Program (AIP) is the barangay’s one-year investment and spending plan, detailing what projects and activities will be implemented, how much they will cost, and how they will be funded. It is one of the essential planning and budgeting documents required of every barangay.
The workshop also guided barangay officials in strengthening development planning, promoting gender-responsive governance, and enhancing disaster preparedness and resilience.
The activity was attended by Mayor Eric Mellana, Vice Mayor Jesusimo Ronquillo, the 20th Sangguniang Bayan Members, and the Municipal Heads of Offices, who expressed their continued support for strengthening barangay governance through responsive planning and sound investment programming.
