On behalf of Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Jorem J. Luzon, Liezl Mae Dumanon attended the Belt and Road Summit 2026 Briefing with Local Government Units via Zoom. The online briefing provided participating LGUs with updates and relevant information on the upcoming summit, including opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

A Belt and Road Summit Briefing with a Local Government Unit (LGU) is a preparatory meeting where international trade and economic officials educate regional municipal leaders on opportunities connected to China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The premier global event, the Belt and Road Summit, is officially organized by the Hong Kong Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Through its participation in activities such as this, DILG Prosperidad continues to support initiatives that strengthen local governance and promote meaningful partnerships for the municipality’s development.
