ECLIP beneficiaries took part in a three-day β€œSkills Training on Motorcycle/Small Engine Servicing (Cum GAD Mainstreaming)” from May 5 to 7, 2026, at the Barangay Libertad Covered Court. This event bolstered government efforts in reintegration, peacebuilding, and community development that consider gender.

The training included participants from three barangays in the Municipality of Prosperidad: Barangay Libertad, Barangay Mabuhay, and Barangay San Lorenzo. It offered hands-on learning in motorcycle and small engine servicing, improving participants’ chances for jobs and a steady income. PESO Manager Christine L. Alvizo facilitated the training, ensuring it ran smoothly.

The participants completed the introductory lectures on motorcycle and small engine servicing. Featured practical demonstrations, including how to install motorcycle wiring and troubleshoot problems, and practiced dismantling and reassembling engines.

LGOO VI Jorem Jumao-as Luzon offered messages of support and encouragement, highlighting the chance for personal growth and reintegration. Additional support came from Hon. Nena Mirafuentes Tampepe of Barangay Libertad, Sgt. Jason Briones of the 8th SF Dragoons Company and GAD Focal Person Daisy Lobiano, all stressing the importance of inclusive development initiatives.

TESDA Trainer Argen C. Cabatlao provided hands-on instruction throughout the training, ensuring participants gained practical skills.
This initiative shows the ongoing commitment of government agencies and local leaders to empower ECLIP beneficiaries.

The focus is on skills development, livelihood support, and community reintegration programs that aim to rebuild lives and boost local peace and development.
