The Municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, recently underwent the Regional Validation for the SubayBAYANI Awards, a recognition program that highlights the commitment of local government units to transparency, accountability, and excellence in infrastructure project monitoring.

The validation was conducted by the Regional Validation Team, which assessed the Municipality’s compliance with the criteria and standards set for the SubayBAYANI Awards. The activity included the review of project documentation, monitoring mechanisms, reporting systems, and best practices implemented by the local government in ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure and development projects.

The SubayBAYANI Awards aims to recognize local government units that demonstrate outstanding performance in project monitoring and implementation while promoting citizen participation and transparency in governance. Through the validation process, the Municipality showcased its initiatives and accomplishments in strengthening project monitoring systems and ensuring that government-funded projects are implemented efficiently and effectively.

The conduct of the Regional Validation reflects the Municipality’s dedication to good governance and its commitment to delivering quality services and sustainable development programs to the people of Prosperidad.
