The Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator (MPDC), together with personnel from the Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) of the Municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, participated in the Regional Rollout to Cohort Local Government Units (LGUs), a capacity-building activity aimed at strengthening local planning and governance systems.

The activity convened planning and development practitioners from various LGUs across the region to discuss current policies, development priorities, and strategic approaches to program implementation. It provided participants with valuable insights, technical guidance, and updates that will support the effective execution of local development initiatives.

The rollout also served as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, allowing participants to share experiences, best practices, and innovative approaches in addressing local development challenges. Discussions highlighted the importance of effective planning, inter-agency coordination, and capacity enhancement in achieving sustainable and inclusive growth.

Through its participation, the Municipality of Prosperidad continues to strengthen the competencies of its planning personnel and reinforce its commitment to responsive governance, evidence-based planning, and efficient public service delivery. The knowledge and insights gained from the activity will contribute to the Municipality’s ongoing efforts to formulate and implement programs that address the needs of its constituents and support long-term community development.
