The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Prosperidad conducted the Skills Enhancement Training for the Lupong Tagapamayapa cum Orientation on Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Award (LTIA), participated in by Punong Barangays, Barangay Secretaries, and members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa from all 32 barangays of the municipality.
The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of Lupong Tagapamayapa members in effectively performing their roles in barangay-based dispute resolution and conflict mediation while providing an orientation on the LTIA, which recognizes outstanding Lupons that demonstrate effective and exemplary performance.
The training also served as an avenue for participants to share experiences, clarify concerns, and strengthen their understanding of the proper implementation of the Katarungang Pambarangay program.
The activity highlights DILG Prosperidadβs continuing efforts to empower barangay officials and Lupong Tagapamayapa members in strengthening peaceful, accessible, and effective dispute resolution in their communities.
