Under the leadership of Mayor Frederick Mark Mellana, the Municipality of Prosperidad, through the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC), continues to intensify its efforts in implementing rehabilitation, recovery, and reintegration programs that aim to restore hope and provide individuals with opportunities for a better future.
Batch 1, consisting of 9 clients enrolled at the Balay Silangan Reformation Center, have successfully graduated from the program, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards recovery and reintegration. The activity was conducted with the presence of the Sangguniang Bayan Members from Sibagat; Sibagat MADAC Focal Person Dondon Ilagan; Prosperidad MADAC Focal Person Ethel Zeljee Kay Lim; MLGOO Jorem Luzon; and the two Punong Barangays who showed their support for the clientsβ recovery journey.
As part of the reintegration process, the participants underwent a series of physical activities and wellness exercises designed to strengthen discipline, teamwork, and personal development. The activity also served as an avenue to encourage positive transformation and healthy living among the clients.
Meanwhile, all identified individuals included in the rehabilitation list undergo and complete the Balay Silangan Program to ensure proper intervention, guidance, and support from the government and community.
This initiative highlights that the program is centered on care, guidance, and community support, ensuring that clients are given the opportunity to rebuild their lives and become productive members of society once again.
