𝗨𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗬𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗚𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) of Prosperidad, headed by MLGOO Jorem Luzon, conducted the “Ugnayan sa Barangay” activity in the LGSF-SBDP beneficiary barangays of La Union, Awa, and Azpetia.

During the activity, MLGOO Luzon served as the resource speaker and discussed the significant features of the LGSF-SBDP. Sectoral workshops were likewise conducted wherein participants identified and prioritized their top ten issues/problems and formulated corresponding Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) to address these challenges.

The Local Government Support Fund–Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP) is a government initiative that aims to bring sustainable development and lasting peace to communities through the implementation of priority infrastructure and development projects. By addressing the pressing needs of barangays, the program seeks to improve the delivery of basic services and enhance the quality of life of residents.

The outputs of the workshops were subsequently presented during the finalization of the priority list of projects for the 2027 Local Government Support Fund–Support to Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP), ensuring that the proposed interventions are responsive to the actual needs of the communities.
Through this initiative, the DILG continues to promote participatory governance and inclusive development among beneficiary barangays.
