To improve interagency cooperation and strengthen the execution of anti-illegal drug initiatives, the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) called a Special Meeting in conjunction with PDEA and the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Councils (BADACs).

Mayor Frederick Mark Mellana expressed his support and emphasized the significance of stakeholders working together to maintain a drug-free municipality.

Updates on the Barangay Drug Clearing Program, monitoring systems, and the enrollment of identified clients in Balay Silangan as part of the government’s community-based rehabilitation and reintegration program were among the main items on the agenda.
