To further strengthen local anti-drug governance and ensure compliance with national standards, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) conducted the Workshop on Strengthening ADAC Compliance and Audit Readiness for CY 2027 at the Grand Palace Hotel, Butuan City. The activity gathered Municipal Local Government Operations Officers (MLGOOs) and DILG Provincial Office personnel to enhance their knowledge and readiness for the upcoming ADAC audit.
The workshop emphasized the Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) compliance requirements, highlighting the importance of strategic planning, effective implementation, and proper documentation in meeting audit standards. Participants also reviewed current ADAC initiatives, identified areas for improvement, and discussed strategies to further strengthen local implementation.
MLGOO Jorem Luzon actively participated in the workshop, reaffirming DILG’s commitment to providing technical assistance and ensuring the Municipality’s preparedness for the CY 2027 ADAC Audit.
The activity concluded with a renewed commitment from the participants to apply the knowledge and best practices gained during the workshop, further enhancing ADAC performance and supporting the collective goal of building safer, healthier, and drug-free communities.
