𝙈𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙤𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙃𝙊 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨

The Municipal Population and Development Office (MPDO) and the Municipal Health Office (MHO) were invited to Prosperidad National High School to conduct a health education lecture for 130 Senior High School students.

Mr. Rico Layno of the Municipal Health Office discussed HIV/AIDS awareness, emphasizing prevention, early detection, and the importance of responsible health practices. Meanwhile, Ms. Icey Lim, R.N., Population Development Officer, delivered sessions on Teenage Pregnancy and SHAPE (Sexually Healthy and Personally Empowered Adolescents), highlighting the value of informed choices, self-protection, and personal empowerment among youth.

The activity was funded through the Special Education Fund (SEF) headed by Ma’am Jocelyn L. Menil, District Supervisor, in partnership with LGU-Prosperidad under the leadership of Mayor Frederick P. Mellana.
The initiative forms part of the continued effort to equip students with essential knowledge for their health, safety, and well-being.
