36 ๐…๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐‘๐ž๐œ๐ž๐ข๐ฏ๐ž 750 ๐„๐•๐ˆ๐€๐‘๐‚ ๐‰๐š๐œ๐ค๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ ๐’๐ž๐ž๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ

Thirty-six farmers from the Upland Sustainable Agriculture Farmers (USAD) received a total of 750 EVIARC jackfruit seedlings to support diversified and sustainable farm production. The seedlings will be planted as an intercrop with cacao, complementing the farmersโ€™ existing cacao plantations, which have demonstrated a high survival rate.

The distribution was attended by SB Committee on Agriculture Chair Edelberto Bastareche, Municipal Agriculturist Marlita Cortez, and HVCDP Coordinator-Designate Blessy Avila. The beneficiaries also received a technical briefing from personnel of the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGAS) on the proper establishment and management of jackfruit seedlings.
