AROUND 215 TEENS AND SINGLE MOTHERS RECEIVED FROM TUPAD PROGRAM

On December 11, 2025, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), through Ma’am Buhawe B. Corvera-Correa, Supervising LEO/OIC-FO head of Agusan del Sur, conducted a TUPAD payout in the Municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, benefiting a total of 215 teen moms and single mothers.
This initiative was made possible through the strong support of LGU Prosperidad under the leadership of Mayor Frederick P. Mellana , and the active coordination of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) headed by Ma’am Christine Lalvz.

Each beneficiary received ₱4,350 after completing 10 days of community service, contributing to the restoration of safety, cleanliness, and orderliness within their respective barangays.
During the payout, DOLE and LGU officials encouraged recipients to use their earnings wisely, prioritizing essential household needs.

The LGU also reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with national agencies to continue empowering vulnerable sectors and enhancing community resilience.
To ensure accurate identification of eligible beneficiaries, the PESO Office closely coordinated with the Municipal Population DevelopmentOffice Prosperidad(MPDO), which provided the verified number of qualified participants for the program.
