Barangay Azpetia Council Welcomes Day 3 of Tax Information and Education Campaign

AZPETIA, PROSPERIDAD, AGUSAN DEL SUR, August 12, 2026 – The Barangay Council of Azpetia, headed by Punong Barangay Moises C. Rivas, warmly welcomed the Municipal Treasury Office (MTO) for Day 3 of the Tax Information and Education Campaign (Tax IEC).

The Tax IEC was incorporated into the Barangay Council session, demonstrating the council’s support for the municipality’s efforts to strengthen tax awareness and promote responsible tax compliance among the community.

Present during the activity were Hon. Diego L. Bando – IPMR; Hon. Pacino Dylan My. Caramoan – Committee Chair on Education; Hon. Ricky O. Antallan – Committee Vice-Chair on Sports; Hon. Roque G. Robles – Committee Chair on Agriculture; Hon. Aljem C. Felizardo – Committee Chair on Appropriations; and Hon. Archie S. Casas – Committee Chair on Infrastructure.

The Municipal Treasury Office extends its appreciation to Punong Barangay Moises C. Rivas and the Barangay Council of Azpetia for their warm welcome, active participation, and support for the Tax IEC.

Through strong collaboration between the municipal and barangay governments, tax information is brought closer to the people toward a more informed and progressive Prosperidad.
