Barangay Azpetia RPT Collection Performance Highlighted During Tax IEC

AZPETIA, PROSPERIDAD, AGUSAN DEL SUR – August 12, 2026 – During the Tax Information and Education Campaign (Tax IEC) in Barangay Azpetia, the Municipal Treasury Office (MTO) presented the barangay’s Real Property Tax (RPT) collection performance covering January to July 2026, emphasizing the importance of tax compliance in supporting local programs and services.

For CY 2026, Barangay Azpetia has a target collectible of ₱401,294.00, of which ₱255,627.76 had already been collected as of July, leaving a balance collectible of ₱145,666.24. This represents approximately 63.7% of the annual target already collected.

The presentation also highlighted an RPT Basic Share of ₱127,813.88, from which the barangay’s 25% share amounts to ₱31,953.47.

Through the presentation of the barangay’s actual collection performance, the MTO emphasized how the payment of Real Property Tax directly contributes to local revenues and provides resources that help support the delivery of essential services and development initiatives.

The Tax IEC encouraged property owners to pay their RPT obligations on time and take an active part in strengthening Barangay Azpetia’s revenue collection.
