FORMULATION WORKSHOP FOR THE SOCIAL PROTECTION AND DEVELOPMENT REPORT (SPDR) CY 2027–2032

The Municipal Government of Prosperidad, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and the Municipal Council for the Protection of Children (LCPC), is currently conducting the “Formulation Workshop for the Social Protection and Development Report (SPDR) CY 2027–2032” from July 8–10, 2026, at Jojo Catering Services, New Leyte, Awa, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

The three-day workshop gathers representatives from various national government agencies, municipal offices, civil society organizations, sectoral groups, and the 32 Punong Barangays of the municipality to assess the current social protection situation, identify service delivery gaps, analyze risks and vulnerabilities, and formulate priority interventions for vulnerable and marginalized sectors.

The workshop serves as a significant step toward developing an evidence-based and inclusive Social Protection and Development Report that will guide the Municipality of Prosperidad in planning, budgeting, and implementing responsive social welfare and development programs for the years ahead.

Together, we reaffirm our commitment to ensuring that “no one is left behind” by strengthening social protection mechanisms and promoting inclusive, resilient, and people-centered local governance.
