ITU AND MIO CONDUCT WEBSITE FAMILIARIZATION AND ORIENTATION FOR LGU PROSPERIDAD DIO’s

Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur — The Information Technology Unit (ITU) and Municipal Information Office (MIO) have oriented some Department Information Officers (DIOs) on Website Familiarization last November 21, 2025, at the Municipal Conference Hall.

Municipal Treasurer Roberto Sabuero emphasized the benefits of having a current municipal website based on “Arta law,” which refers to two laws in the Philippines: the original Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007 (R.A. 9485), steered by ITU-in-charge Jay Tumarao, on how to do basic navigation in a website. Ms. Icey Lim, Municipal Information Officer, also conducted a short orientation on writing news brief articles to be posted on the website.

The DIOs, being the coordinators from their offices, will be working towards improving the online profile of the municipality in the true spirit of local information sharing, especially in their respective office Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs). see more. . .
