LEDIPO and DTI Empower Local Associations Through Simplified Bookkeeping Training
The Local Economic and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO), in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Agusan del Sur through the Negosyo Center Prosperidad, successfully conducted a Simplified Bookkeeping training for local entrepreneurs and association members.
The training aimed to equip participants with practical, easy-to-understand bookkeeping skills to help them properly track their income, expenses, and overall business finances — a crucial step toward sustainable and well-managed livelihood projects.
Serving as resource person for the event was Ma’am Mary Joy C. Josol, Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Prosperidad, who shared her expertise on basic financial recording and money management tailored for small and community-based enterprises.
The activity was participated in by members of the beneficiary Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Association and various women’s associations in Prosperidad, reflecting the continued commitment of LEDIPO and DTI to strengthen the financial literacy and entrepreneurial capacity of local communities.
Through initiatives like this, LEDIPO and DTI – Agusan del Sur reaffirm their dedication to supporting grassroots economic development by providing accessible training programs that help local associations grow their livelihoods and achieve financial stability.
