LGU Prosperidad Holds 2027 Annual Investment Program Presentation per Sector

Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Prosperidad through the Municipal Planning and Development Services Office successfully conducted its two-day presentation of the proposed Annual Investment Program (AIP) for Fiscal Year 2027 on April 15–16, 2026, at the Planning Conference Hall. The activity gathered department heads and sectoral representatives to review, align, and prioritize programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) across various sectors.

The presentation served as a crucial step in ensuring that the municipality’s development agenda remains responsive, strategic, and anchored on its long-term goals. Each sector—including social, economic, infrastructure, environment, and institutional—took turns presenting their proposed PPAs, highlighting priority interventions, funding requirements, and expected outcomes.

Municipal planning officials emphasized that the AIP is not merely a budgeting tool but a roadmap that translates plans into actionable and fundable programs. Through this process, departments were encouraged to align their proposals with identified local needs, ongoing development challenges, and emerging priorities.

The consolidated AIP for 2027 is expected to undergo further review and endorsement before its final approval, paving the way for its integration into the municipality’s budget and implementation framework for the coming year.
