LGU Prosperidad Honored with DTI-Caraga’s Kaagapay Award for Negosyo Centers
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Caraga has recognized the Local Government Unit of Prosperidad for its outstanding contribution to MSME development in the region, as part of the 2026 MSME Development Week celebration themed “Navigating the Shift: Building Resilient and Future-Ready MSMEs.”
In a letter dated July 8, 2026, DTI Caraga Regional Director Gay A. Tidalgo, CESO III, formally invited Hon. Frederick Mark P. Mellana, Municipal Mayor of Prosperidad, to the Stakeholders’ Summit and Recognition Ceremony held on July 17, 2026 (Friday) at 3:00 PM at The Pavilion, Watergate, Butuan City.
During the event, the Prosperidad LGU was conferred the Kaagapay Award for Negosyo Centers, in recognition of its steadfast commitment to establishing, operating, and sustaining its Negosyo Center, as well as its strong partnership in making business development services more accessible to entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and aspiring business owners in the locality.
Representing the Municipality of Prosperidad at the ceremony were Ma’am Evelyn T. Monato, MPA, Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Officer (LEDIPO), and Ma’am Mary Joy C. Josol, Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Prosperidad.
DTI Caraga extended its sincere gratitude to the LGU for its unwavering support and continued partnership in empowering MSMEs and promoting inclusive, sustainable economic growth across the Caraga Region.
