MBO Participates in Training on the New Government Procurement Act, R.A. No. 12009 and Its Implementing Rules and Regulations – Day 1

The Municipal Budget Office (MBO) actively participated in the Day 1 training on the New Government Procurement Act, Republic Act No. 12009, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

The training aims to strengthen the knowledge and understanding of government personnel on the updated policies, procedures, and requirements governing public procurement. It provides participants with valuable insights into the key provisions of R.A. No. 12009 and promotes proper, transparent, efficient, and accountable procurement practices in government.

Through this training, the MBO continues to enhance its capacity and ensure that its personnel are equipped with the necessary knowledge to support sound financial management and compliance with prevailing government procurement rules and regulations.

The Day 1 session marks an important step toward strengthening institutional capacity and promoting responsible stewardship of public funds in the delivery of effective public service.
