MBO Participates in Training on the New Government Procurement Act, R.A. No. 12009 and Its Implementing Rules and Regulations – Day 2

The Municipal Budget Office (MBO) actively participated in the Training on the New Government Procurement Act, Republic Act No. 12009, and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR).

On Day 2 of the training, participants focused on the Modes of Procurement under the new law. The session provided valuable discussions on the different procurement methods, their appropriate applications, requirements, and procedures to ensure that government procurement is conducted in accordance with the law.

The training enhanced the participants’ understanding of the new procurement framework and strengthened their knowledge in promoting transparency, efficiency, accountability, and value for money in government transactions.

The MBO remains committed to continuously improving its knowledge and practices to support effective, efficient, and compliant public financial management in the Municipality.
