MPDSO and MAO Hold Coordination Meeting on PRDP Basic Safeguards Requirements for NOL 1 and NOL 2

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – July 17, 2026 – The Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) and the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) conducted a coordination meeting to discuss the Basic Safeguards Requirements for the Issuance of No Objection Letter (NOL) 1 and No Objection Letter (NOL) 2 under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP).

The meeting aimed to review and identify the documentary and safeguard requirements necessary for the processing of NOL 1 and NOL 2, ensuring that the proposed PRDP project of the Municipality complies with the prescribed environmental, social, and institutional safeguards.

During the discussion, representatives from both offices carefully examined the required documents, permits, certifications, consultations, and other compliance measures needed before project implementation. The coordination also focused on assigning responsibilities and strengthening collaboration between the MPDSO and MAO to facilitate the timely completion of the required documents.

By conducting this coordination meeting, the MPDSO and MAO reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that all safeguard requirements are properly addressed, contributing to the successful implementation of PRDP projects that promote sustainable agricultural and rural development in the Municipality of Prosperidad.
