MPDSO Participates in Social Protection and Development Report (SPDR) CY 2027–2031 Formulation Workshop

The Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) of the Municipality of Prosperidad participated in the Formulation Workshop for the Social Protection and Development Report (SPDR) CY 2027–2031, held on July 7–8, 2026, at Jojo Catering Services, Barangay New Leyte, Awa, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

Organized by the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) through the Social Protection Committee, the two-day workshop gathered representatives from various municipal offices and stakeholders to review, update, and formulate the Municipality’s Social Protection and Development Report for the 2027–2031 planning period.

Representing the Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) was Architect Shyjie Mie L. Padilla, who actively participated in the workshop discussions, planning sessions, and technical activities. The workshop focused on identifying priority social protection concerns, strengthening planning mechanisms, harmonizing programs and services, and ensuring that the Municipality’s social protection strategies remain responsive to the needs of its constituents.

The activity also encouraged participating offices to provide relevant data, reports, and sectoral information that will contribute to the preparation of a comprehensive and evidence-based Social Protection and Development Report.

Through its participation, the MPDSO reaffirms its commitment to collaborative planning and inter-office coordination in support of inclusive, resilient, and sustainable development for the people of Prosperidad.
