MPDSO Representatives Authorized to Attend Rescheduled Capacity Development on Research Study, Research Design, and Proposal Development
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Prosperidad continues to invest in the professional growth of its personnel through active participation in capacity-building initiatives that promote evidence-based planning and effective local governance.
The Office of the Provincial Governor of Agusan del Sur has officially announced the rescheduling of the Capacity Development on Research Study, Research Design, and Proposal Development. Initially set for July 14–16, 2026, the activity will now take place on July 15–16, 2026 at the Provincial Learning Center, Gov. D.O. Plaza Government Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
In a formal communication addressed to the Municipal Government of Prosperidad, the Provincial Government requested the continued participation of the same two (2) representatives from the Municipal Planning and Development Services Office who had been previously authorized to attend the training. Despite the revised schedule, the activity remains focused on strengthening the participants’ knowledge and skills in research methodology, research design, and proposal development.
The training is designed to equip local government personnel with practical competencies in conducting research and preparing well-founded project proposals that support data-driven planning, policy formulation, and informed decision-making. Such initiatives contribute to enhancing the capacity of local government offices to formulate responsive and sustainable development programs that address the evolving needs of the community.
The Municipal Planning and Development Services Office recognizes the importance of continuous learning and capacity development in improving public service delivery. Through participation in this training, the office reaffirms its commitment to fostering innovation, promoting evidence-based governance, and strengthening institutional capabilities that contribute to the long-term development of the Municipality of Prosperidad.
