MTO Prosperidad Participates in Day 2 Afternoon Session and Indoor Demonstration on Fuel Dispensing Calibration

DAVAO CITY – September 3, 2026 – Personnel from the Municipal Treasury Office (MTO) of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur continued their participation in the Day 2 afternoon session of the Seminar-Training on Fuel Dispensing Calibration and Weighing Scale Verification, which combined technical discussions with an indoor demonstration on fuel dispensing calibration.

The session tackled applicable laws, rules, regulations, and common issues involving fuel dispensing pumps, strengthening the participants’ understanding of the standards and requirements that guide proper inspection and calibration.

Participants were also oriented on the detection of calibration irregularities and common violations, highlighting the importance of carefully identifying discrepancies that may affect the accuracy of fuel measurements and potentially disadvantage consumers.

A key part of the afternoon activity was the indoor demonstration, where participants were shown the proper procedures and techniques in using calibration equipment and proving measures. The demonstration provided a practical application of the concepts discussed during the lectures and helped participants become more familiar with the actual calibration process.

Through the combination of technical discussions and hands-on demonstration, MTO Prosperidad personnel further enhanced their knowledge and skills in conducting accurate and systematic fuel dispensing inspections.
