MUNICIPAL ORIENTATION ON PANAHON NG PAGKILOS: PHILIPPINE COMMUNITY RESILIENCE PROJECT (PCRP)

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through the KALAHI-CIDSS Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP), successfully conducted the Municipal Orientation on Panahon ng PAGKILOS on June 29, 2026, at the Farmers Training Hall, Municipal Agriculture Office, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur. The activity gathered municipal officials, barangay leaders, and partner stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and enhance understanding of the project’s implementation.

The orientation highlighted the overview and key features of the PCRP, the Social and Environmental Safeguards Framework (SESF), the composition and responsibilities of the Municipal Resilience Team (MResT), the Municipal Profile Template and data consolidation process, and the Community Resilience Implementation Process (CRIP), including its major activities and timelines. Open forum sessions also encouraged active participation and meaningful discussions among stakeholders.

The program concluded with a Pledge of Commitment, reaffirming the shared commitment of the DSWD, MSWDO, the local government, and community stakeholders to strengthen disaster resilience and promote sustainable community development.
