Municipal Treasury Office Joins Technical Budget Hearing for FY 2027 Budget Preparation

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – Municipal Treasurer ROBERTO S. SABUERO, MPA actively participated in the Technical Budget Hearing conducted as part of the Municipal Government’s annual budget preparation process.

The Technical Budget Hearing serves as a vital platform for reviewing the proposed budget of each department and office, ensuring that planned programs, projects, and activities are aligned with the Municipality’s development priorities, fiscal policies, and available financial resources.

During the hearing, Treasurer Sabuero presented the proposed budget of the Municipal Treasury Office, highlighting the office’s priority programs aimed at enhancing local revenue generation, improving tax collection efficiency, strengthening financial management systems, and delivering quality public service to the people of Prosperidad.

The activity also provided an opportunity for department heads and members of the Local Finance Committee to discuss budget proposals, justify funding requirements, and ensure that government resources will be utilized efficiently, effectively, and transparently.

Municipal Treasurer Sabuero reaffirmed the Municipal Treasury Office’s commitment to supporting the municipality’s development goals through sound fiscal management, responsible stewardship of public funds, and the continuous implementation of innovative revenue-generating initiatives.
