Municipal Treasury Office Unveils Updated Organizational Chart to Strengthen Public Service

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur – The Municipal Treasury Office (MTO) of the Municipality of Prosperidad proudly presents its updated Organizational Chart, reflecting the office’s commitment to efficient governance, accountability, and quality public service. The organizational structure outlines the various divisions and sections responsible for delivering essential treasury services to the municipality.

Headed by Municipal Treasurer Roberto S. Sabuero, MPA, with Zainelo T. Lazaga, CPA serving as the Acting Assistant Municipal Treasurer, the office is organized into four major divisions: Revenue Operations Division, Financial Reporting and Accountability Division, Disbursement Division, and Administrative Division. Each division performs vital functions that contribute to effective revenue collection, sound financial management, timely disbursement of funds, and efficient administrative support.

The Revenue Operations Division oversees tax collection, real property tax management, and business tax administration, while the Financial Reporting and Accountability Division handles financial reporting and the Electronic Statement of Receipts and Expenditures (eSRE) functions. The Disbursement Division ensures the proper release of government funds through cash disbursement and check issuance, and the Administrative Division manages records, human resource management, and administrative support services.

The organizational chart also reflects existing plantilla positions, proposed positions, and vacant items, demonstrating the office’s continuing efforts to strengthen its workforce and improve service delivery to the public. By enhancing its organizational capacity, the Municipal Treasury Office aims to provide faster, more transparent, and more responsive services to taxpayers and stakeholders.
