Municipality of Prosperidad Strengthens Child Protection Through Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children (CEPC)

The Municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, actively participated in activities under the Comprehensive Emergency Program for Children (CEPC) on June 10, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and development of children during emergencies, disasters, and other crisis situations.

The activity gathered local government officials, representatives from various municipal offices, partner agencies, and stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in promoting child-centered emergency management. Discussions focused on policies, strategies, and interventions aimed at ensuring that the needs and rights of children remain a priority throughout all phases of disaster and emergency response.
