MUTLAS, Inc. Leads Seminar-Training on Fuel Dispensing Calibration and Weighing Scale Verification

DAVAO CITY – September 2, 2026 – The Municipal Treasurers League of Agusan del Sur, Inc. (MUTLAS, Inc.), headed by its President, Roberto S. Sabuero, MPA, spearheaded the Seminar-Training on Fuel Dispensing Calibration and Weighing Scale Verification, held on September 2–4, 2026 at Mergrande Ocean Resort, Davao City.

The three-day seminar-training is conducted in collaboration with two national government agencies, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), bringing together their expertise and technical support to strengthen the competencies of local treasury personnel in the proper inspection, verification, and calibration of weighing scales and fuel dispensing pumps.

The activity brings together Municipal and City Treasury Office personnel from across the Province of Agusan del Sur to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in weights and measures. The training covers fundamental principles and standards, proper inspection and testing procedures, detection of errors and irregularities, calibration techniques, documentation, and hands-on practical exercises.

Under the leadership of MUTLAS, Inc. President, Roberto S. Sabuero, MPA, the initiative highlights the organization’s commitment to continuous professional development and to strengthening the capacity of treasury offices to safeguard consumers through accurate and reliable measurements, fair commercial transactions, and effective enforcement of weights and measures regulations.
