PCA BRINGS MEDICAL HEALTH SERVICES TO 400 COCONUT FARMERS IN PROSPERIDAD
PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur — The Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), through the Coconut Farmers & Industry Development Plan, extended essential medical health services to 400 coconut farmers in the municipality. The initiative was led by Regional Manager III Mr. Eric C. Divinagracia and Division Chief Mr. Manolito Casapao.
The activity was made possible through close coordination with LGU Prosperidad, particularly the Office of the Municipal Agriculture, headed by Ma’am Marlita Cortez, Municipal Agriculture Office-Prosperidad
Farmers benefited from a range of services, including dental care, medical check-ups, PhilHealth profiling, and other health-related interventions aimed at improving their overall well-being.
This joint effort highlights the government’s continued commitment to supporting coconut farmers by ensuring access not only to livelihood programs but also to vital health services that contribute to a healthier and more productive farming community.
