PRE-CONSTRUCTION CONFERENCE FOR THE SLP AND MASIPAG: POULTRY HOUSE FOR LAYER PRODUCTION

Under the supervision of Municipal Agriculturist Marlita Cortez, Agricultural Technician Rex Campano, MASIPAG Coordinator Blessy Avila, and Erika Honorio, in collaboration with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Prosperidad, successfully conducted the Pre-Construction Conference for the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and MASIPAG: Poultry House for Layer Production.

The project will benefit two farmers’ associations: the Dagani Farmers Association of Barangay San Vicente and the New Visayas Farmers Association of Barangay La Union.

The Municipal Accelerated and Socially-Inclusive Program for Agriculture (MASIPAG) is one of the flagship programs of Municipal Mayor Frederick P. Mellana, designed to reduce poverty and improve productivity, income, and sustainable livelihood opportunities for the people of Prosperidad.

The Pre-Construction Conference served as a venue to discuss the project’s scope, implementation timeline, technical specifications, and the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders. The activity ensured that everyone involved is aligned and fully prepared for the smooth and efficient implementation of the Poultry House for Layer Production project, reinforcing transparency, coordination, and a shared commitment to its successful completion for the benefit of the farmer-beneficiaries.
