Prosperidad Child Development Workers Join 2026 Provincial Summit

The Child Development Workers (CDWs) of the Municipality of Prosperidad proudly participated in the 2026 Child Development Workers Provincial Summit held on July 8, 2026, at the Covered Court of the Sports Complex, Gov. D.O. Plaza Government Center in Patin-ay, Prosperidad. Carrying the theme, “Mga Child Development Workers, Haligi ng Maagang Edukasyon, Gabay sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Kabataan,” the summit gathered City and Municipal Child Development Workers, Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officers (MSWDOs), and Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Focal Persons from across Agusan del Sur.

Organized by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), the summit aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and competencies of Child Development Workers in delivering quality early childhood care and development services. It also served as a platform for learning, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices to further improve programs that promote the holistic growth and well-being of young Agsurnons.

One of the highlights of the event was the recognition of the Outstanding Child Development Workers of Agusan del Sur. The Municipality of Prosperidad proudly celebrated the achievement of Ms. Josenta Quino, who was honored as one of the awardees. She received her award from Santiago B. Cane Jr., Gina Ceballos, and Avalota Cejas in recognition of her dedication and exemplary service in advancing early childhood education and development.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Prosperidad extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Quino and all the awardees. Their unwavering commitment and passion continue to inspire fellow Child Development Workers in providing quality services that lay a strong foundation for every child’s future.
