📻 Strengthening Emergency Communication Through Knowledge and Training

On July 14, 2026, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), in collaboration with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) CARAGA, successfully conducted the Seminar on Restricted Radio Telephone Operators for Land Mobile Service.

The seminar provided participants with essential knowledge on the proper operation of land mobile radio communication systems, relevant regulations, and best practices to ensure efficient, reliable, and effective communication—especially during emergencies and disaster response operations.
