United in Service: Municipal Treasury Office Leads Flag Raising Ceremony

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur, June 8, 2026 – The Municipal Treasury Office successfully hosted the weekly Flag Raising Ceremony on Monday, bringing together local government officials, department heads, and employees of the Local Government Unit of Prosperidad in a meaningful gathering that highlighted patriotism, unity, and dedication to public service.

The program commenced with an invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, the Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, the Bagong Pilipinas Hymn and Pledge, the Agusan March, and the Prosperidad Hymn. These activities served as a reminder of the shared responsibility of public servants to uphold the values of integrity, accountability, and commitment to the community.

In his message, Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Jesusimo L. Ronquillo expressed his appreciation to all government employees for their continued hard work and dedication in delivering quality public services to the people of Prosperidad. He also encouraged everyone to remain committed to excellence, teamwork, and responsiveness in addressing the needs of constituents.

As the sponsoring office, the Municipal Treasury Office emphasized the importance of efficient revenue generation and sound fiscal management in supporting the municipality’s development programs and public service initiatives.

The weekly Flag Raising Ceremony continues to serve as a venue for fostering unity among LGU employees, disseminating important announcements, and renewing the commitment of public servants to nation-building and community development.
