UNLEASHING CHANGES: THE LGSF SUBAYBAYANI SHOWCASE

The Municipality of Prosperidad participated in the “Unleashing Changes: The LGSF SubayBAYANI Showcase” held from June 16 to 18, 2026, at Hotel Oazis, Butuan City. The event gathered representatives from various Local Government Units (LGUs) to highlight exemplary practices and successful projects implemented through the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF).

Representing the Municipality of Prosperidad were Engr. Michel Rema B. Tumulak from the Municipal Planning and Development Services Office (MPDSO) and Mr. Jorem G. Luzon from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). Their participation reaffirmed the municipality’s commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and effective project implementation.

The SubayBAYANI Showcase served as a venue for LGUs to present project accomplishments, innovative strategies, and lessons learned in implementing locally funded development initiatives. The activity emphasized the importance of monitoring and evaluating government projects to ensure that public resources are utilized efficiently and that intended benefits reach communities.

Throughout the three-day event, participants engaged in discussions, presentations, and knowledge-sharing sessions focused on strengthening project management, enhancing citizen participation, and sustaining development gains. The showcase also highlighted the significant role of collaboration among local governments, national government agencies, and stakeholders in achieving inclusive and sustainable development.

By participating in the LGSF SubayBAYANI Showcase, the Municipality of Prosperidad continues to strengthen its capacity in development planning, project monitoring, and governance.
